Came accross this picture the other day in my dads stash of  school stuff he said he had forgotton all about it.

He drew it in the 60,S whilst at high school getting detention for doing it on his lunch bag during school time.

He has always told me he doesnt like earlly holdens.. this sorta tells me otherwise.

Must of been an export LHD model  Grin Grin..................... but it certainly is a great treasure to have an original drawing done by your Dad before you were born and it being of an FC is very uncanny.

Very cool.
If he drew that from memory whilst in class, he had more than a passing interest in FCs.
Looks to me like the sort of thing you would tattoo onto your body.

I think the memory of that 120Y overtaking us going up the hawkesbury when we drove mine home from sydney still messes with him.

Yep, they did have P Plates, only red ones, the green ones came much later
I recall them on my FC in 1968, this is a scan of my 1st car

They also had Go Domes on the wheels of the hotties, interesting detail on the grille, sort of FE / FC hybrid your dad is an artist fchoon, thats a great drawing!

Cheers, Gary

If I was you I'd get it framed and hang it in the shed, That is a treasure that can never be replaced.
