 Hi all, Just received word that Gary (Zulu) and Bruce (FC Driver) are stranded at Eucla WA and need help (Car not moving anywhere fast). The options open at the moment are, Sit and rot, Bruce to hitch a ride (Gary won't leave the car) or Jan to drive over and retrieve them all from Sydney. So anyone on there way back east, from the Nats and have space or can help in any way it would really be appreciated. Cheers Rusty

Hi all
Sad to say the ambo and van are now in Ucula being readied for trucking to Sydney. As the last bus left 8 years ago we have to get to Eucla (600km away) for a plane or bus service to Adelaide. Concidering it would be impossible for both of us to hitch a ride together we have decided to split up for now. So i'm about to hit the road hiking and Gary will see the car off and follow later. There is a chance that Gary will get a lift someway in the car carrier but this is not certain and the car could be here for some days yet. So heres hopeing..........

P S Gary and I will be keeping in Phone contact when possible so I will keep you updated........

Hi all
Just been offered a lift with the South Australians to Ceduna ( where public transport is available) .........Now to get Gary out but he wants to leave after he sees his car and van off.

Geez Gary / Bruce thats bad luck after all the travelling you have done and help you offered to others that broke down

Hi all
Its 3 50 pm and Im at Ceduna airport thanks to the Adelaide group. I depart here at 7 30pm tonight with a early flight to Sydney in the morning. When I last spoke to Garry he was still at Ucula hopeing to get a lift with his car but he has a 3 Phone and there is no coverage there for him so he is depending on using the satalite phone at the roadhouse. Jan is keeping in touch with Debbie and whan I hear where he stands I will post. If someone else has any information about Gary's forward journey could they please post here.

Hi everyone. We have made it to Mandura. Not able to keep going as getting dark and roos starting to appear. Will be back on the road in the morning. Only an hour and a half from Eucla. We can give you a lift tomorrow to Ceduna if you are still there. We will ask at the service station if they know anything about you. If you get this message and leave before then please try and leave a message somewhere. Or we will do our best to track you down there. We also have no phone reception. Thanks to all well wishes and offers of help, I managed to hitch a lift on road train and am now in Ceduna, hope to fly home tomorrow
