I have added a new avatar.  It appears all squashed up.  How can I overcome this?  The image i Photobucket looks normal.

The original photo must be a square, so crop it to suit.
If the pic is still a standard 6x4, it will turn it into, a square to fit into the assigned space, resulting in the distortion.

Aspect ratio, try uploading this one to your photobucket and use that, needs to be a square image as the avatar is 128x128 pixels

It's a little crude but should do the job.

OK.  Thanks for the info Alex and Glenn.  I cropped it for a square image and the results are now good.
