Wanted to buy a Hr disc brake front unmodified. Mainly want the Stub axles , Disc and calipers  to change my hd prem from drums to disc, But will take a complete front end if iv got to, Must be in good condition and in Sydney prefferably. Slim 0401303998

maybe hr have different bottom wishbone,but it could be a myth...people told me thats why i had a camber problem on my fc ute but it ended up being torana stubs causing the problem.many wreckers told me they are the same but i'd never believe a bloody wrecker....................and you must have the late hd ball joint front end?my hd prem had kingpins.was easier to swap the whole front end

A guru told me the other day HD and HR are different as the HR had wider or maybe it was narrower track there is a slight difference and the mark is on the lower control arm on the bottom side.


Also rims were differet offset one to the other.

That's right Hoon they are different Shocked if you do a search I got hold of a NOS HD and a HR lower wishbone and measured them up and posted the differences ......FC427......

are the stubs the same,from hd to hr.
and bolt up ok.
using hd stubs on to a hr front end.?

yes HD ball joint stubs will work on a HR front end the wish bone are the difference .......FC427......
