Been looking for a while, wanted something a bit different twins and triple SU's are more common than triple Strommies. So when I noticed the manifold while dropping off my carbies, I made him an offer and these are the end result. The old school look is what I'm looking for and hopefully the end result will reflect just that.

not much work on the car of late, but did pick up the headers from being ceramic coated.

They need a bit more of a polish but they look the part, will match the triples real well.
A bit more chrome and polished alloy too add a bit more bling to the engine and it"s done.

Was hoping for a big weekend in the shed but a day in hospital yesterday with lower back pain has stopped me cold. The doctors think I have pinched a nerve, so pain killers and anti inflammation pills three times a day for four days and bed rest has been prescribed. Ah well maybe next weekend!!!, getting old is a real pain in the arse(back).

I know the feeling all too well Jim. I tore two discs in my lower back twelve months ago and still can't move in the morning. As 'unblokey' as it sounds I do a lot of yoga now which really helps. I just need a mat that isn't pink

Hope your feeling better after a bit of time off. If you end up seeing a physio, they might be able to recommend various pallates exercises to do cos if it continues sometimes the pain de-activates the core muscles and glutes compounding the problem. Pm me and I can send you some lumbur exercises to try if it lingers ongoing.

Thanks guy's, I have to get a scan done as they found a small trace of blood in my urine and then go back to my gp and go from there. The ER doctor said not to have any physio until I have the results back.

Must be the week for good fortune (Deano's score),had a call from the trimmer letting me know that the seats are finished. I was expecting them at the end of April, I'll post some shots  when I pick them up tomorrow (back permitting).

As promised a couple of shots of the seats, picked them up yesterday.

very happy with the end result, they fitted the covers that Glenn had made and redid all the padding. all that is left is to fit the new side caps and the ash tray as well as the runners and they will be ready to go back into the car.

Question- what do you do when it's cold, raining and your back is still a bit sore?
Answer- sit down inside and polish the stainless for the door cards, seat ends and the "C" pillar moulds.
Keeps the hands warm from the friction and gets a few more things off the list. I'll fit the door cards and the seat trims up when finished and post some shots.

Forgot to say that the clips worked a treat and fitted real well, bent the bard with long nose pliers for the first angle and then bent with my finger to press them fully down.
Well done Pete, another quality job.
