Received this run invitation via email.

Quote
we would like to extend an invitation for your club to attend the
Camden Lioness's Charity Car Show to be held Sunday 18th May, 2003 at
Camden Showground. There is a $5-00 per person entry to the grounds
but no entry fee for judging. There will be 11 categories for judging
with trophies and cash prizes for these categories. The day is held as a fundraiser for the Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Service and we expect good media coverage on the day. The Macarthur Lions will hold a BBQ with a number of other stalls  and rides for the children on the day.

Send me a PM or reply here if you're interested in going as the organisers have requested approx numbers.  If you need more info about the day, you can contact the organisers directly: Kym Nielsen knielsen@lifesaver.org.au

A note to all those thinking of attending the Camden Lioness's Car Show at Camden this Sunday 18th May...

I have been advised by the organisers that a decision regarding Sunday's event has not been made at this stage.   It may be that the grounds will be to wet to use, the Lioness Club will be making a final decision at 1.00pm tomorrow (Saturday).  If the event is cancelled it will be promoted through 2WS and C91 radio.

I will be contacting the organisers tomorrow afternoon, and will post futher details if the show is on or not.

Please feel free to call me on 4655 6440 if you have any questions.

Cheers, Cat

Hi everyone,

The Camden Lioness's Charity Car Show is on this Sunday.

Entry for all cars is between 7am to 10am.  $5.00 per car which includes entry to the show for the driver, but all other people in the car will have to pay an entry fee to the show.

Presentations of Trophies and cash prizes will be at 3pm.

Apologies for the late notice but I have been waiting for the organisers to confirm if it was still on.

Cheers, Cat

If anyone wants to go, or is running late call me on 0408 380 012.

Which reminds me, how on earth did they get that ute so low?  Was it driveable?  Did they pump it up afterwards so they could move it??

Cat,

The ute had airbag suspension - let the air out and the car drops to the ground. Pump it back up using the on board compressor and it's ready to drive off again.

This system has been around the US car scene for a fair while and there's now plenty popping up in Australia.

Haven't seen an FE or FC done though........

Cheers,

Craig.
