Sent to me via the forum, please contact seller for all questions.

I bought this car in 1992 in Ballarat and drove it for a few years, then moved house, family, kids etc, and couldn't keep it. For the last 14 years its been up on blocks on a friends property not far outside Bruthen, wrapped in tarps in his barn. The engines the original grey. It's got a pair of HR disc brakes. There's no rust, other than a bit of surface rust where the paint is faded. The body's straight. The photos will tell you everything, really. There's a few bits and pieces in the back including the original manual and a new one. I replaced the tonneau cover and tray floor, recovered the seat, put in a footy heater. that's about it.

I'm not game to turn the engine over after sitting idle for so long.

I'd like to get $4000 for it but I what I really want is a fair price.

From the seller -
Quote
a guy from Albury put a deposit on the ute on Friday and will pick it up on the 23rd of July.

PS, please don't give my number out to people looking for cars, I only posted this on behalf of someone else and my cars are not for sale.

I have finally got this ute safely home in my garage, after an exhausting 660km trip on probably some of the worst roads in oz.(worst for towing a car at least) The old ute certainly raised a few eyebrows being towed over mount hotham, with some people taking photos(i guess its been a long time since an fc went to the snow fields) and there were a few ice patches that had me thinking it might not survive the trip, But its now home.

The FC has a couple bits of rust (both sides in front of the rear wheel arches, hope this is a rare spares replacement panel!!) but the floors and tray are good. The spare Wheel area is in excellent condition with no rust at all.

I even had an old bloke stop me as i was passing through Omeo to tell me he has owned/restored 3 fc utes and none were in as good condition as this one before he restored them. He also said he has a hr front end i can have so it looks like i will be crossing that bloody big hill again soon.

I am practically computer retarded, so i will get the missus to put some photos of the utes trip on here tonight.
