Tony,

What a great find!

When you have finished building your hot grey motor, with the high compression shaved head and deck, and you find that none of the holes line up in the alloy side plate, I'll be more than happy to buy it from you for my standard deck height, standard head motor Wink

Regards

Edward

Tony,

On a different note to Fast Eddie, I'll be in for one maybe two if any replicas are cast up.

If you haven't found a suitable foundry yet, go to Kingston & ask the blokes at the railway museum who they use to make replica builders plates & numbers.

Cheers

Great idea Spinner, will look into that. Also found a guy in Belconnen that does alloy casting, so that may also be a goer.
Good one Norm, as if  Grin
Rob, will try and get some pix on the weekend. The old grey looks cool with the sideplate, alloy timing case and JWL rocker cover, oh yeah, scored a few other bits too Smiley Looks even better when the blower is on.
Cheers

They are out there.

There are also the Aussie speed ones, they are good quality and are the same apart from the JWL Equipment.

Although the JWL are highly sought after and can take years to track down ( trust me )

I have one of these, it has no brand markings from memory

I bought mine long before the Aussie Speed version and it's not a JWL either although I do have 1 of those also,

I did have it on the spinner but I recall it leaked, so I replaced it with an original cover

Here is a pic when it was on the Spinner
