Gday Brent

Can you do the lettering in a different order i.e. Wilsonia Guage OIL/GEN/AMP or as I am attempting for the LHS setup, ENG/BRAKE/H'BR.
I am replacing the fuel guage with the three idiot lights (normally RHS) to match in to my V8 conversion.
My fuel guage is an aftermarket one to suit a VN Commodore sender unit.

Are you able to post a photo of your work?

Thanks
Craig D

Brent

May seem a dumb question but are these on the inside of the glass?

Thanks

Not really even that hard if you mark them out on the front of the glass before you clean what's left of the old letters off the inside.Use a Stanley knife and a pair of tweezers to transfer them.Best not done after 10 or more beers though... Tongue

Brett

Just wondering if you can still make up the lettering?

I need the OIL/TEMP/GEN for the WIlsonia Guage and ENG/BRA/HBR for the other side.

Please PM me with the price.

Thanks

Hi guys,

I'm doing mine at the moment, but I have about 10 sets of gauges and a couple of wilsonias too, and no 2 have the letters in the EXACT same place or the EXACT same size. Even looking through this thread there are differences, E&F sizes etc. 2 of mine don't even have the word fuel on them.
Does anyone have info on the EXACT size and position?

Pinky.

Hey Pinky,
I took the measurements from my original guages in my 80,000 mile ute. These were an exact match in every way. I guess there were a number of different templates used in the production line, if you prefer a different version to those in the photos above I can make you a custom set.

Utemad.

The ones u sent me had slightly different spacings to the original. So I split the transfer.
Must have had different templates in the day..

Thanks Brent,

But I'm making mine own. Just needed to know if there was an exact position recorder by GM somewhere.
