I am looking for a Bakelite Insulator for a '57 FE Holden. Please reply to this post or email myself at betteandjohn@hotmail.com if you are able to assist.

Also, the carburettor has been recently overhauled (and not being mechanically minded) the engine will not idle unless I keep my foot on the accelerator. Do I turn the idle mixture screw right or left?

Any assistance is appreciated.

I have an insulator, rough setting to start is to do the screw up until it stops and then back off a turn and a half. sounds like you may also have vacuum leaks though.
