Many thankx Champ,
it sure will help me, plus than i can fab it to suit my trim, without taking the house down to the bank
I sure enjoy the insight and input from you all, i just cant wait to get my FE on the road
it's gr8 to see all the hard work, handy hints and pics on here to inspire me to push through the scare factor as a newbie to putting an FE back together, but there still is a lot of head scratching and hard to think of all the odd parts i need ( mainly small silly parts like shims that secure the door locks in, rear quarter windows and rubbers, choke cable, handbrake cable ...1 door lock button threaded rod...and the list goes on heheh !! )

I have a template for the front parcel shelf, as I keep a sheet of fitted brown paper on mine when the car isn't on the road to keep off dust and to protect the trim which I recently restored. Send me a PM with your address and I'll post a template to you. Cheers David

That would be so handy, the amount of junk that accumulates on the floor during road trips is amazing. How does it attach at the firewall?

How does it attach at the firewall?
There are three 90 degree brackets with a self tapping screws through the firewall. You can see the heads of 2 of the screws in the photo in my car.
where does the HOLDEN NOS NASCO FX FJ FE FC FB DASH ACCESSORY HOLDER that is on ebay go?
The dash holder attaches to the inside of the windscreen with suction cups. It can be positioned wherever you like along the dash, but for smokers, putting it next to the ash tray let you have your packet of smokes handy.

Hi David, Is this your car?
Yes it is. As my signature on my posts is a link to the thread where it features.
Glenn and Keith (both in Qld) - a template for the shelf is in the post to you both today.
Cheers
