Could anyone enlighten me as to the similarities and differences between rear bumpers ??
Is there a difference between FE and FC? (if so what are they?) Is there a difference between Sedan and Wagon?? (if so what are they?)
Cheers Matt

fchoon is quite correct but maybe didn't answer the whole question. Unlike front bumpers, the rear bumpers on FE and FC are identical on all sedans and wagons. The irons for the wagon are the same as the sedan. The ute and van rear bumpers and irons are obviously completely different to the sedans and wagons but the same between FE and FC.

Is the centre section on an FE front bumper the same as the rear centre section on an FE/FC sedan /Wagon. If so what is the difference between the front and back bumpers, are they the same? If not what is the difference between FE and FC front bumpers

FE Special Sedan & Wagon front bar has the number plate surround All other FE front bars, Standard, Business Sedan, Commercials do not, but the holes are there and you often see them fitted.
FC front bars, regardless of model, do not have the number plate surround, nor do they have the holes there to fit them, however, over the years many bars & bar centres have been swapped.

Here's a quirk you may not have noticed - have a look at the FC on the cover of the sedan/wagon sales brochure. You will see that it has a FE commercial front bar on it with the holes clearly visible - not like production. Inside the brochure there is a green FC standard sedan also with the same bumper. All other pics don't show holes.

In the parts catalogue the FE centre section has the same part # for the front and the rear #7408731, which is also the same as the FC rear. The FC front centre section is #7414456 and is most likely the same but without holes.
Cheers Stewy.
