I just went through The Holden Heritage book and added up the release numbers of Holdens from the 48215 (FX) through to the EJ and came up with the figure 111,7028.
Based on those figures I think you could safely say there was that many made.

You would need to factor in new blocks as spare parts which would be a significant number.
I would think at least 1.2 million would be a start. I have heard that engines were a problem in the FB model after the bore change and a lot were replaced under warranty. Maybe closer to 1.3 million. Very difficult to work this out to anything closer than the nearest 100 000 in my opinion
