Just in the process of buying an FE Holden and before I went through with it am looking for advice on what fuel to use and also if additives are required.
I am in NSW so my options are becoming limited.

I use unleaded with an additive - maybe this one has already had the valve seats hardened and then you wouldn't even need the additive.

Fuel Additive and Premium Unleaded for me as well!

I have read posts here and also on other forums that people only run additive every 2 or 3 tanks, but I use it in every tank.

I use standard unleaded fuel and pour Flashlube in the tank at every fill.
I read somewhere that standard fuel can be used on engines with a compression ratio of 8.86:1 or less. Premium fuel is ideal for higher compression or performance engines.

You must make sure that you do use a valve additive (or upper cylinder lubricant which has an additive in it) unless the head has hardened valve seats installed.
