Hi all,
I don't post often but keep an eye on the forum. I've recently finished restoring my FE ute as a stable mate for my FE sedan.
I have a interesting question. The ute has a new headlining to go with all the other new trim etc.
Anyway, everything looks great and the new upholstery looks terrific but.....when I'm driving along at speed (for a grey motor) at 50MPH or more the headlining balloons down significantl between the bows when I open a quarter vent or a window. The faster  I go the more the headlining balloons. Does anybody have an explanation for this? And more importantly, a solution? The ute also has a sunvisor, I don't know if this influences anything but...?.
Thanks all

 Shocked Shocked

Theo,

"What was the problem?" I am also restoring a ute (FE look alike) and don't want the same problem.

Cheers Rusty

Too easy really. Fill the 'B' pillar above the belt line with foam rubber. Its a tight gap in the pillar to get through and access is by removing the side panels in the ute tub, but believe me it worked.
