31st October Convoy and Car Show for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The 1939 Chev Club are holding a Charity Car Show on the 31st October at Harry's Cafe De Wheels Parramatta starting at 11am and finishing at 3pm.We will meet at Harrys Cafe De Wheels LIVERPOOL at 930am for a 10am departure, we will travel in convoy and each car must fly a bra to support breast cancer or there will be a $50 fine. Car display entry is $10 and Gold coin donation for spectators

Well I got my bra (44H) {would like to find the owner of it} today, but unfortunately I don't have an aerial to attach it to

I think I will attach it to my towbar, hope it is not too windy on Sunday week as I maybe going backwards on the run.

Hi all,

Three club members Rusty, John, and Lance (With there Wives) attended this and we had a very good day. It started out overcast (which may have cept the Chevs in the shed) but turned out to be a very warm day. We started at Harry's Liverpool and made our way to Harry's Parramatta. Rosalyn scored Best Street Car with the Wagon, Lance got best Bra (colour coded to match his car) Thank you to the organisers. It was an excellent day.

Thank you to everyone that attended our event for Pink Ribbon Day!!!!!

I am pleased to say that despite the weather, we raised just under $1000 for Pink Ribbon Day!!!!

Thank you to you guys for bringing out your pride and joys in the weather to help support this event.

We had 25 cars attend, but raised $1110 for Pink Ribbon Day!!!!!!
Well done to all......

Breakdown:
$340 - Entrants
$335 - Raffle
$116.30 - Donations
and the owners of Harry's Parramatta donated $1 from every Tiger Pie sold on the day which came to:
$185
Total : $976.30
But they made it up to the $1000 so an extra $23.70
Merchandise - $110

So grand total for event is
$1110.30
