Welcome to Alan C, the 3,000th member of the forum.  I hope you enjoy it as much as many of us tragics on here do.

We clicked up 1,000 on 6 July 2005.  The stats then were:

1,000 members
7,058 topics
41,327 posts.

When Alan joined on 22 September 2010 they were:

3,000 members
18,125 topics
109,767 posts.

Don't you people have anything better to be doing with your time?  Apparently not. Neither do I.

Long live the FE FC Forum is all this tragic can say.
Cheers
David

PS I was the 1,000th member and bookmarked the post - I'm a stats tragic too it seems.

Imagine how many fe fc,s would be on the road if we spent as much time on the car as the computer.

Yes, but you can have a look online at work, you can't just duck off a few minutes to work on your car while at work.

Be nice if you could work on your car while at work though.....

I wonder what the count would be if we could exclude the spammers... Still, we've come a long way since the forum first started more than 10 years ago. I don't know what the proportion would be of FEs and FCs on the road today as a result of the forum, but to everyone who's given their time, advice and assistance to their fellow forum members, thank you.

For those that are interested, there's a bunch of stats about the number of posts, new members and threads available in the Statistics Centre (unfortunately only since the forum platform was moved from YaBB to SMF, about 3 years ago).

cheers
