Does anyone know if there is a repro panel available for the plate that houses an air cheif radio? what I'd like is the curved plae modified so you can fit a modern stereo/cd player, just a standard size square fitting without the holes for the tuning dials. Does this exist or have they been repro'd in the past? Thanks

Tony,

Have a search on the forum for "AWA" - there was a discussion a while back of these, including pix.  It sounds like the AWA one is what you want.

cheers

Try this guy:John CARR 0262263230. He is from Yass , NSW. He was at the Super swap meet at Richmond on Sunday 16.2.03. He restores old valve and transisor radios. He said he's had fascias made up for Air Chiefs etc.from fibreglass which look spot on. Had many excellent radios. Also does red tip aerials (Repro.$25.00)Regards Kev... Grin Grin

I knew John Carr would surface sooner or later, he is the one a few blokes have been chasing. He use to live in ACT and I was trying to find him for Graham Fuller recently but had no luck
