I have attempted to remod the original accelerator pedal from a VN Commodore into my FC. Disregard the final finish as I need to certainly tidy it up a little. It looks as though it will work.

The sleeves are as is from the original mounting bracket. The depth of the sleeves allow for the positon of the bracket to be approx. 15mm off the firewall.

The space between firewall and bracket stops the assembly fouling the side of the firewall on RHS in the return position.

I have readjusted the angle of the lever to allow for more pedal movement.

I hope this is a help to some. Grin Grin Wink Wink Thanks to Pedro's assistance the booster will be next.
Cheers Craig

Thanks FC427

I did see your version when I was researching through all the earlier posts on this topic but thought I night have a crack at an alternative.

When I was putting this one together I was looking to lift the assembly off the firewall to allow for any soundproofing/carpet and also to lift it away from the RHS Firewall.

Hopefully someone may refine my version (MK 1) so that it is a little more presentable.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Easiest way is to just drill out the spot welds on the commodore one and use that, then you can use the plastic cover that goes over it too, thanks for reminding me about the electronic kickdown, I was finishing off mounting the booster and modifying the pedal today so made a bracket for the detent switch as well, cold and wet here at the moment so the painting will have to wait.
