Due to a a few requests below is a list of the suppliers I used for my FC project. 

I had 12months or less to get the project done from start to finish and aim was to get the car looking new for my grandparents. 

I didn't have access to any secret staches of NOS bits so I had to comprimise on reproductions bits or stuff that looked close enough.

Thats a great idea Peter, a similar list in each state would certainly save a lot of pain especially if you live in a country town.
A list of interchangeable parts would also be great, I have heard a lot of people say some chev parts still available new in yank land
fit the fc.

A list like this was started a few years ago. Unfortunately it received virtually no support, with only Stinky and I putting together lists for SA and NSW respectively. I put a lot of time into setting it up with the ability of you, the members to provide 'ratings' for the various suppliers, but it simply died in the bum. I 'unpublished' it one day, and it took months for anyone to notice.

Well done to Peter for publishing his list, I hope it proves useful.

I totally agree, this is a great reference....I wish someone had done the same up here in queensland....I have miles of trouble finding good trade help!

Many years ago I did have such a list for Queensland around the time of Hildas make over that was done for Emu. Nobody ever looked at the list

Like RET said, we tried a general list and it died in the bum.
Peter's idea is actually better because people tend to see other's build progress and pictures and then ask "where did you get that done" etc.
So really it is up to the individuals now

Have ute will travel. I expect to travel to find these services.  

The Eastern subs are a barren wasteland for real modified cars.  There are alot of smash repairs, brake shops and 1 good autoshop and one OK wrecker.  I haven't found any engineering shops though.

I'm having a ball on the FB wagon and I've actually re-discovered my mojo and desire to modify cars.  I'll be scouting for my own project once the FB is done.
