tHE MAIN ACCELERATOR ROD THAT RUNS BEHIND THE ENGINE, There are 2 different types 1 thin ,1 thick , Which was original on FE, the thin or thick. OR were they used on both models. I have 1 of each and would like to know which suits what model? ANY IDEAS OR CLARITY is MUCH APPRECIATED

Hi Slim my car is a 1956 97,000 mile completely original car and the accelerator rod is 5/8" diameter.
