Here are my pics of the Nationals.
I have broken them down into seperate albums and you can find the links below.
I have included a few pics here to help set the mood. I hope you enjoy them.
Let's start out with Friday.
Registration Day and welcoming dinner at Orange City Bowling Club.

The dinner included a welcome by Mayor John Davis.

The evening also included a presentation by Denis Gregory about the Gnoo Blas racing track and his recollections about racing in that first Touring Car Race in 1960.

The link to Fridays pics can be found here:

Saturday started out with a cruise to Sir Jack Brabham Park for the Show n Shine.
Along the way entrants came across John, our official starter standing on the start/finish line of the Gnoo Blas racetrack.

More flagman pics can be found here:

The Show n Shine day at Sir Jack Brabham Park was probably the biggest gathering of FE FC's in 1 place since the 60's. Hard to appreciate the wide variety of cars on show, I hope the pics help convey the size of this gathering.

Saturday evening was a Rock and Roll dance at the Orange Function Centre, with live band. A great opportunity to catch up and do a bit of bench racing. The dance floor got one hell of a workout also.

Sunday night was the presentation dinner, which saw us headed back to a much different looking Orange Function centre.

Surferboy presented a few surprises during his presentation on the next Nationals in Perth.

Monday was a day that many entrants anticipated all weekend, Mt Panorama Bathurst.
90% of entrants chose to do the Mountain and assembled at Turners for the short cruise.

All pics from Mt Panorama can be found here:

GREAT pics as always Alex  Grin

Damien looks like he had just won at Mt Panorama
( I've never seen the V8 Supercar drivers use that traditional Nats driving style of one hand on the wheel and one hand taking pics )

I think we were ALL winners

Thanks guys for the compliments
Surferboy, I think they call that 'Nats Racecam'.

There is always a few visitors that turn up at the Nats, and I have also got some pics of those cars to share.

Who could miss this very special visitor.....Bruce McPhee's original racecar.
