Hi everyone. My name is chris im 46 and i live in hallam victoria. Where do i start.... I've owned a few fc;s.    one was a big block chev drag car. and i owned gunna;s dunnit for a while. Now i'm getting on in years i realise life's short and i want to get back into an fc again. And looking through this forum has given me inspiration to have a go at building something. Although it's not going to be easy to build something different and build it good. There's so many good cars on this forum built doing things i would never of thought of. But i'm going to give it a go. my daughters Ashley and Jessica are 18 and 16 so in the not to distant future i should have more spare time, money and who knows maybe my hair will start growing back. So expect lots of how to do this and that questions over the next few years or so. For now i'll try to get to some club meetings and start going through the classifieds.   Cheers Chris.   And merry christmas to all

Hey Chris.
Sounds like FC's are in your blood.
Welcome to the forum, and bring on the questions.
There a many enthusiasts on here that are more than capable to give you the answers you seek.
Whilst you're waiting to pick up your next FC' how about sharing some pics from those in your past.
I for 1 would love to see pics of the cars you mention. Perhaps you can add to the post about Gunna's Dunnit, with some later pics.
Regards
Alex

I've already got a small stack of photos to post. all i have to do is work out how to post them. One is from the late 60's a black and white photo with a two tone fc with me and some other goons. Might be a job for one of my girls.

Ditto what Alex said Chris, I'd especially like to see some shots of Lindsay's old car.  Cheesy

I'll try and post them this weekend. About lindsay's old car. I didn't have it all that long. I changed a few things like i got rid of the posties whistle. put a lc/j torana rear end in. And some 14x8's on the rear. One problem the car had was the subframe seened to piont down at the front. Which changed the gap between the gaurd and the front doors at the bottom and they used to rub when opening the doors. So it was then i decided i wanted to build my own car. It's just taken me a few years to get around to it. Having children has distracted me for a while. But like i said they're nearly grown up now. I dont think they'll be moving out anytime soon but i should have more me time and hopefully more dollars. I sold the car to a young bloke in leongatha vic. It then went to Russel scobbie in warragul vic who was a buisness partner of a freind
of mine. small world hey. It has sold again since. Dont where it went then.Anyway i better go dig those photos out.

A great vintage shot there Chris - obviously late 60's by the fashion and what looks like a HR wagon in the background.  Have you had any luck with finding a project yet?

Dont know what happend. I spent ten minutes writing a post then posted it but it disappeared. Never mind.  Yeah it must of been late 60's as i was born in 63 and i must have been 5 or 6 in that photo. Havent started looking for a car yet. Just been to busy. but on holidays in a week or so.   So if anyone knows of a panel van kicking around let me know. Would even consider one damaged in the front or rear. as it might be hard to find a good one. I've got a panel beater friend who owes me lots of favours. So anyhow still got lots of photos to post. But might have to wait for more help to post them
