If you are doing touch ups then its unlikely you'll get a match to a formula.
Take your car to your local panel shop and get the painter to match it for you. Most will have an electronic device to do this but all should be able to eye match.
The paint shops I've been too both had a go with the colour matching hardware. The problem with this method (as explained to me) is that the device only recognises the nearest colour match in there database. In which case, the match was a Triumph motorcycle blue by one shop and an early falcon blue by the other. I had the paint reps try and tint/match each of these colours by eye but both agreed that 99% of the time you need to start off with the correct formula to get a close match.
