good news the motors runs and runs well!!!! and while sifting thru the stuff that came with the car i found some of the bits of the trim that runs the side i also had to remove 3 drums so now it can be easily moved!!








and the rear seat i got from the wreckers the other day!!!!!

Those Kuhmos do look good,what size are they?I think the car is finished,just get it safe and reliable and drive it like that... Grin No,not really.When I got mine home I got it running and drove it around the estate a couple times.It drove beautifully but when I stripped it down I realised how lucky I was that it didn't fall in half! Shocked

Somewhere there is someone cursing that they didn't get 2 little pieces of flash trim.

But what good luck on your part to get a matching rear seat.

Keep the updates coming - it will be interesting to see what else you find and how it all goes along.

well i plan of getting it drivable and fixing the rust and id love to leave the paint like that but i see my self going back to bare metal and giving it a nice paint job but we will just have to wait and see

and does anybody in SA have a decent set of Y frames i can buy? as these ones are repairable but for safety id love to replace them

Hamfist, did you ask the wrecker where you got the car, the rest of the strpes may be in his stainless steel scrap bin ?

This car was actually owned by a mate of mine several years ago and unfortunately the stripe kit was already missing then.This was before it made it to the wreckers...Bugger..

hahahaha yer people say that to me alot. some of it has to do with the hot weather carnt do anything during the day so have work at night and iam a fairly determined person Cool
