Hi Guy's,
Does anyone know if a Panel van or well body ute chassis is the same length as a one ton chassis and can it replace the one ton chassis? I know the one ton chassis is different on the side just behind the cab.

One ton chassis is longer won't fit the Ute or van .......FC427.....

Thanks for the speedy reply. So I assume the one ton cab can be fitted to the P/V chassis, shorten the tray and brace the side behind the cab?

That is correct I have done a few like this in the 70's when it was impossible to get a one ton chassis you can leave a fair bit of overhang with the tray on the Ute Van Chassis .......FC427......
