Well I now have a new toy so looks like the EJ will be moving on, picked up an FJ ute with a warm grey in it. Drove it six and a bit hours home and cruised on 100 / 105kph it runs sweet, the guy I got it of hadn't ventured out of town in it for a while and pointed out the leaking timing cover seal when I brought it.It didn't worry me as I've changed a few so there were no problems there, I checked under the car at the first petrol stop going home and there was a fair bit of oil on the outside sump from front to back, so I'll change the sump gasket and timing cover seal on my next days off, there was no oil leaking from the top of the motor so that was a bonus.

Should I worry about the rear main seal at this time? Shocked
