Hi there,
Is there a difference in length between a ute and sedan speedo cable? I received a cable for my ute and it is a good 1 1/2 - 2 feet too long.

Hey Brent,

Fc427 is correct and that speedo cable was for the ute that I am doing the conversion on, when the the reason it wasn't used was because I decided to do the conversion... Would be interesting to know what cable is in your ute if there is a difference in length to the new one.

Hope you get it sorted.

Regards
Jason.

But FC EK EH HR cables all had the same ends but were different lengths. I think you would have a HR cable.

Yeah I think you're right Mark, They have that push in plastic gear don't they? Somewhere in the Holden range is a car with a longer speedo cable that has the same ends as FC - I have a couple in my collection of stuff and now I'm not sure what they come from.
