FC-215 all parts , been told the body just isn't savable by a panel beater mate so i'm going to have to let this girl go for parts, you can see the old girl in "resto , time to get this old girl back on the black stuff" so if you are in the sydney area and are looking for a nice stockpile of parts i would regretfully let all of her go for $800 and start looking for another Fc (this time i am alot wiser in what to look for when buying the next one) . I will still be attending the NSW meetings as the guys are a wealth of knowledge and i enjoy going. Keeping one eye on the "cars for sale" i'll catch ya all later, hopefully in Orange behiend the wheel.

Why is it not savable there has been cars on here with pics of more rust restored and you gotta weigh up the cost of buying one with less rust and still fixing it and what it would cost to fix the one you already got. A body with bugger all rust will cost you over 2k as a roller and you already own that one and if you are welding it up it is only repair panels and mig wire etc. Just a thought. cheers Jason

The rust in the tops of both A pillars is a concern. Anything with rust there has MAJOR rust. I agree if you can do it all yourself you may be able to get it repaired cheaper than starting with a better shell, but if you are paying for repairs, then it will be expensive. Also the other thing to consider, the entire inside of the A pillar probably has rust in it and repairing the holes will not stop the rust further down inside. I tend to think that starting with a better body would be a good move.

Price now @ $600.00 for full car , no "can i have this part" cause i don't want to be stuck with an empty shell to get rid of. Got a sweet ride from Forbes that I'm talking to an old man about. Car is still rolling so able to transport (steering column removed). Thankyou.

If you were serious you would sell parts to help others out.Take it to Sims and karma will deal with you. By the way,I have found some over riders. Thanks anyway.

Where's Slim when you need him? , if this car was in Vic I would snap it up in a second and then part out the pieces no problem. Surely someone in NSW is willing to buy the lot and make a few dollars parting it out? Ken

Who said anything about keeping it - when I was in full swing wrecking cars, the thing came in one day and the shell was at the scrap yard the next day. Ken
