Ok got bored with the grey motor and running gear started tonight to disassemble have a 179 hp with 4 speed auto hr front hr rear should have it up and running in a week or so

it will be at orange so all can see how rough the body work is its nothing like the ek ute i did but thats how i want it at the moment .Ive got a ek ute in the build as well as the fc ute so the fc wagon is just a run about

Some progress pics when the roof was getting flaked




Now some disassembly pics




Got carried away cut floor out for t7oo and got it welded in before tea



a bit of pinstriping done by AIRSPEED at the crakk rod run over the Australia day weekend

Also removed steering column brake booster and clutch master cylinders have nearly finished the vn v8 brake booster install just got to drill 4 10mm holes and a little tuck and weld and that will be finished.Better move fast orange is approaching

Just got to work out how i can use a eh auto column and modify to suit the t700 any suggestions would be great

T700 has the shift on the passenger side so looks like a cable will be the easiest method  otherwise it will be a mechanical cross over linkage under the gear box  which is heaps more work to make and calibrate  ......FC427......

Just been looking at the lokar site with there column cable shift linkage kit .Will wait and see how much to post to australia but definately looks the good

Rocket has a good range of Lokar  they had every shifter except the 12" one I wanted  Huh ???I have there catalogue and know what you are after looks like it should work out

Didn't think it would stay stock for long!  Cheesy

We've used an Ididit cable set up and made custom mounting brackets.  We bought ours from Summit for US$80 - but - we usually buy a few things at once to make the freight costs worthwhile.

Just finished the fit up of the vn v8 brake booster just need to grind the welds down on the firewall then ready to paint the engine bay and start fitting up again then the fun will start

Been a long weekend cut out radiator support and modified to fit a hg auto radiator ground up the welds from the tunnel and brake booster install.Now the missus wants her shed back I need to paint engine bay before i put it out side but its raining and forcasted to rain all week??? Might have to go to my shed in town and get a big tarp to put over it.Also need to put something under the front end to move the car around as the front end is out getting painted this week.Better start cleaning up the shed before i get divorced
