Hi everyone,
I'm having engineer problems getting a Pat Gardiner front end approved in an FC. Has anyone registered a car in Victoria with one of his crossmembers and what documentation did the engineer require? Mine says the info Pat Gardiner has provided is "rubbish".
Thanks,
Leigh

If it was me, I'd be going shopping for another engineer.I've approached a few engineers here in NSW and have found their opinions vary quite a bit on what they require to pass for an engineers certificate. From my experience some have some common sense and are easy to deal with, others ask for mods that border on stupidity.

I'd imagine that if Pat Gardiner was making/modifying front ends that he would have already consulted an engineer in the design process to enable him to be able to produce and sell his front ends legally.

Pat Gardiner has the right paperwork fo NSW & Qld engineers but apparently it needs to be more specific for Victoria. The engineer is usually a "common sense" guy and will most likely accept recommendation from another Victorian engineer that has passed one of these front ends. Trouble is I need to know who & that's why I've asked the question here so I hope someone can help.
cheers,  Leigh
