Gday guys, I'm after an fe-fc steering wheel in reasonable nik. I need one with no cracks around the hub area. Mines stuffed so I guess anything is better than what I have  Wink

You should be able to repair the bakelite(?) do a search on here or the FB/EK forum for tips. A lick of two-pack and no-one will know the difference  Wink

Gday Stinky, I started down that road with the burring of the wheel (as seen in pics below) but the centre hub bakelite has sprung away from the steel and cracks all over the place when trying to get it back into position.I just I'd have better luck with someone having an old daggy one hanging in the shed  Wink




Wilbur, I'm a mechanic by trade and like to have a crack at things myself, Those wheels are lovely but a bit pricey.

I have a few restorable wheels - they have some cracks on the spokes, but the hub is OK. I tend to agree with your conclusion that yours is past it.

I would want $30 for each of my wheels.

Postage would be extra
