Hi All,

I have 2 small round holes on drivers door that may not be factory ??  I'd say they would sit under the stainless trim at the top of the panel.   They don't appear on the passenger side.  They are about halfway along, so I'm thinking probably a bit far back for mirrors.

Any ideas ?    I may be able to get a picture if no one knows off the top of their heads.

Cheers
Peter.

The only thing I've seen like that is a small die-cast badge for a Tilli's / Autolux kit. It wasn't mounted exactly where you say, but could have been fitted anywhere I suppose. Is it the original door? Does the car have dealer trim?

I think the "Ornamental Jewel" - which I've also seen attached to a door - has only one mounting screw, not two. Can't say for sure, never owned one of the ugly things.

2 holes, 1 3/16" apart.

Heres the pics of the 2 holes.  Just need to let the painter know if he needs to weld em up.

I didn't realise when you said "sat under" that you meant literally under the trim, I thought you meant below the trim.

Don't know what the purpose of those holes could be.
