Hi all just after details on how to modify a VN wiring loom to splice into the FE . I know I can pay for one but would like to do it myself. There are a few blokes on here who know what to do and it would be extremely appreciated for assistance ie pics and drawings to do this. I want to do as much of the FE as humanly possible myself as the satisfaction is half the fun in a car.
cheers jason.

I have a little bit of electrical experience but none in wiring in vn efi set ups basically I am after the easiest method to do this conversion as far as wiring goes thats why I was hoping on a diagram and instructions like purple wire goes to ignition power etc.

THE OEM loom is relatively easy to adapt, with only a small power distribution board required.

I can fax you/post you a wiring diagram for the engine ECU etc.
The hook ups to power and where you choose to fuse them is the hardest decision.

Do NOT use the factory VN fusible links, they are simply old and prone to failure.  I chose to replace using circuit breakers.

send me your details

Cheers

Ed

i can provide the colours of the nessasary colours and their duties,3 relays should be installed, efi supply relay, fuel pump control relay and cooling fan relay, a speed sensor should also be fitted to lock the converter up using an in line speed sensor so you can still run your original speedo
