No Alex, Al owned a Terracotta over India Ivory sedan when I first got mine.
I have a picture of it somewhere at the 1986? NSW AHD.
He fitted the engine at his workshop in Springwood. I paid $100.00 for the engine from a wreckers, a very early number 149 with a standard bore.
Its never missed a beat since it was rebuilt and doesn't leak a single drop of oil from the engine.

Hey Craig Als FC had similar primer patches, which is what made me think it may be the same car. Thanks for clearing that up. I have a few pics of it somewhere also. Regards Alex

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes it is a long story, but basically the 'Poo' bit refers to the flash colour which has been likened to baby poo.

Wow Craig, I remember when we striped the motor down, measured the bore and was surprised and glad that it was standard. I also remember late one night in the workshop weighing and filing engine parts making sure all the pistons weighed the same also the conrods, maincaps, ect... using June's kitchen scales which if she knew about, she would have killed me. The motor that's in the ute now I rebuilt not long after I did your's. Were did 23yrs go....

Quality workmanship like yours doesn't need a long warranty anyway Al. Here's a trio of Poo Mobiles at the 2003 Nats in QLD.

I'll go against the flow here, I remember when these aerials came out, they were marketed as " vandal proof " because they would bend rather than break.
I have a new old stock one in the shed with a red tip that will find it's way onto 1 of the cars eventually.
