All the information is available on the RTA's website - as long as you can find it
They seem to move everything around every so often just for the heck of it.
Anyway, the document is called "Vehicle Standards Information #6: Guidelines for Light Vehicle Modifications".
If you type in 'light vehicle modifications' into the search bar on the
RTA's website, it comes up top of the list. I could give you the URL, but it might move again before you read this post
Otherwise I've got a copy I can email you if you have trouble getting it from the RTA.
FWIW Single-speed wipers are OK, as long as they do 45 sweeps/minute or better. As Simon says
, chassis is not required for a red motor, as long as you can hang your gearbox without one.
If you need details of a good engineer in Sydney, there's one in Mortdale that a number of club members have been to. Do a search on the site for "Lohning" and you'll find the details where they've been discussed before.
cheers
