March 16th... Having a ball now! The floor pan has been welded in, and some of the structure done... Half chassis needs to be fabricated and welded in.    Seats fit!!  |

Damn, that is some interesting fabrication going on under there, not bad for the first months work.

360days to go... Group support.  Steering column in as well as the pedal assembly. The clutch has been adjusted to fit, and now will be inside the car.    |

350 days to go... Some rust to be removed... will be a VN fuel tank, extended to 120litres. Hoops chosen, tubs started... will be a few weeks until I get back to it unfortunately.      So 332 days to go, plenty of work to be done, lots of fun to be had. |

Wow, you have done well to get that far in just over 30 days, well done. I can't wait to see the finished project.
It looks like you have a fair bit of room in that shed!
Keep us posted on the progress. I assume that you will be at Orange and that is why you are trying to have it finished in the 365 days. Is this correct?

Yep, you have it in one.
The shed is a mates that I taught to fly... Actually he has an affiliation with Bathurst. Graham Jonsson, raced with his brother for 3 years in a VL commodore 89' 90' and 91' I think. So may be appropriate to get this one to Orange.

Excellent job  - looks like you have some welding skills which are needed for this project. Will you be using the complete wiring loom from the donor? Where are you located in Queensland? I am doing a similar project at Nundah. regards oldgmh. |
