I would love to see a new permanent category in the front page menu for cars from the past or "where are they now" cars,
preference to all FE/FC holdens but also open to all other interesting, well known, movie cars etc etc etc
here is an fc i would love to find the whereabouts now
SATNAV- flip front white sedan from late ninety somethings
and also
All cars from "Running On Empty"
join the list and lets see how many oldies and goodies we can find, pics of them then and now would be even better.

no i nearly bought the EK and the chopped '53'54 (rammer) before it got burnt funny story with the EK the guy that had it was sick of people stealing or trying to steal it, before the movie never had a problem, always left the car parked in his front yard. after the movie it got stolen 3 times only joy riders and had the recaros stolen out of it on the front lawn

This topic has come up before. The 57 is owned by a guy in Penrith by the name of Val, and he also has the EK. (or a clone there of) I saw the EK on the road about 6 months ago. The guy also owns the 'rammer' chev which is now in poor condition. The front sheet metal is missing and it has had an interior fire, but it is the same car. Here's a few pics of both the 57 and Fox together when this guy owned both. (Yes, he has owned 4 of the cars from the movie) The Fox has made it's way across to Perth WA, and has been altered slightly. I saw the 57 in the carpark at a car show in Lansvale in 82. Regards Alex

I see that EK most afternoons on the Northern Road at Orchard Hills on my home from work. I have also seen it parked in a paddock at Glenmore Park as well.
Cheers John

Hey John The car you have been seeing is the car in the first pic, which is a clone. Some noticable differences are the panted roof rather than vinyl and no flares. The original car was cut up and is no more. The 'story' goes that it suffered a dash fire and the owner decided to cut it up instead of fixing it due to the amount of rust that was in it. Regards Alex

I think we should start a "stump Alex" section. He seems to have a picture of every car built in the fifties, (or maybe just the ones mentioned on the forum) ..... name a car or an owner and ...hey presto... up comes a picture. Your a legend Alex, keep it up, its good viewing regards Weddo
