On most FE/FC's there is a small metal wind deflector so you can open the 1/4 vent a bit and not get wet in the rain etc. Were these always on or was it an option? I only just noticed the FE doesn't have them but the FC does - was it a model thing or could they have been removed at some point from the FE?
