I  purchased sometime ago a set of invoices( car invoice, insurance,delivery record) for an FE special sedan,purchased from border garage texas 10.10.56 delivery to L.D & B Schwenke. chassis 6 2904 B  eng no.294470.
 no rego no. recorded or ID plate.

Collecta,
I would try a bit of a ring around Texas, if I was you.
Border Garage is still trading and there are a fair few Schwenke's in the area.
For those who don't know, Texas is in Queensland between Stanthorpe and Goondiwindi on the border of NSW.  Population around 1000 people.  Bit smaller than that other Texas with the ten gallon hats, oil and George Bushes. Wink
