Just got home from this years MotorEx show.
Great collection of top cars as usual, but this year we were treated to not 1, not 2, but 3 FC's. I took around 280 pics, so it will take awhile to get them loaded, but in the meantime, here's a couple to give you an idea.

Keep a lookout for the rest.

Horses for courses Leon - I can't see that one getting too many stone chips on it!  Not for a long while at least! Grin

Having said that - everyone should be encouraged to build their to suit their wants and not worry about anyone else's opinions. Some very nice examples! Thanks for the pictures Alex.

maybe there was a issue with rego, apparently its got some $$$ spent on it,  the guy at work reckons there would be no other modified FC wagon built to the standard, did anyone see it close up?
looks like the door rubbers are at least new Grin

I looked at it close up.  The door rubbers do look kinda new.  The rest of it doesn't look too bad either.  Dunno how many sun-visors it'll go through though.

The biggest issue with rego that I can see is that the donk is a little larger than 317 Cu In.  The guff on the car claims it to be a 350.

that could be a issue being a 350, surely he discussed the engine swap with a engineer, ive never seen the car, the guy at work said he had a green wagon with a chev and tubs that he was getting ready for a show in homebush, he reckons the guy joined the fe fc club, does anyone know him?

Yeh, the drivers door on the wagon has a bit of a gap in it, needs a bit of a tweak to get it to close properly I'd say....  Wink Cheesy Grin

Its a fabulous looking car. Like Spinner, my first thought when I saw it was how is he gonna keep the visor on?  Grin

The orange ute is fabulous.

Cheers

very nice, the little torrie looks like you may need a pilots license aswell, certainly looks like a scary power to weight ratio.
cute number plate too, whats the answer to that Grin Grin

bloody orange ute stole my idea for heater controls  Wink Wink Wink but i do love the steering wheel a lot.

and just to be picky. not a big fan of the exposed battery in the back of the wagon, but thats just me....

but very nice cars nonetheless..

I just love that wagon, but it would have been so much cooler if the motor was kept under the bonnet and no hole. That is some serious rubber under there.I think it's so cool because they didn't mess with the body too obviously and colour scheme is nice too.The venetians are a nice touch...he he.. Cool

i agree, just saw a pic of the engine bay on another site and there looks to be some grunt in there, but a few things could've had a bit more attention to get it to the high standard that Leon was informed that it would be. still a very, very tuff looking wagon. would probably have a very mean rake on it Cool

... He had it to Power Cruz for a drive and then it's only been to the track once for a couple of runs 8.2 off the trailer with just a little boost should run in the 7's ........FC427.......
