Hi all,
Does the flasher unit on a stock wiring harness need to be attached "thus earthed" to the body?

The wiring diagram does not show it needing to be earthed, but when tracing the wires, it appears as it would have to.  Can anyone tell if it does or not?

Thanks

Michael

Gday.
No mate I don't believe that it needs to be attached to the body as most can hang on the wires and work ok. If it's a three pin then I think that one wire is the earth. It should be black from memory.

Brad is 100% correct, The holder is attached to the back of the clutch pedal bracket and the 3rd wire is an earth wire.
