Had a few hours at the 50th Aniversary of Baskerville Raceway on Sunday and what a great day it was with plenty of car and bike racing (modern and nostalgic) heaps of old race cars dusted off and brought out into the sunlight for the day. Have attached a few grey motor pics, sensational engineering !! and also a repco cross flow grey head on an FJ.

Is that a Repco cross flow in the green humpy? I've never seen one.

Cheers

Nice pics!  Grin

And what a brilliant weekend it was, too. Four or five Humpies, an EH, a gaggle of Mini's, a few hot XU1 Torana's, three nasty V8 LH/LX Toranas, Escorts, not to mention Skylines, a noisy BMW, Lotus Cortina's and a VERY fast 200SX and even a Mitsubishi Mirage!

There were some pretty impressive spectator cars too, including a nice FJ, an HG/HT Premier, an old Falcon (XP maybe), an old Valiant, an HR Panel Van and two Falcon Coupes.

My favourite for the weekend was the old red FX/FJ racer with the wide Volvo rims. Uber Cool  Cool

Cool pics.
Awesome greys.
Looks like a great day.
That's 1 huge fuel block in the first 48-215, but some sweet flares.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards
Alex

This 1 has a nice history.
It's Jack Myers car from 1955.

Alex,
we must have stood on the same ground, by the look of your photo's Cheesy

the large fuel block in the first humpy was only feeding those little tripple amall carbies, might be to eliminate fuel surge from the pump.
Ol_Girl_58 - the FJ/Fx's are a great sight to see  - with perfect body roll

John - it is a Repco Cross Flow head on a beautifully restored racer
