My clutch slave cylinder quit on my FC last night. Re conditioning it is out of the question as the piston and cup are seveley damaged. I was wondering can a much more common slave cylinder out of a hr be retrofitted. anyone done this to their FC before? Gearbox is the good old crash box.
 Cheers

The HR slave cylinder in a HR is an internal set up and quite different.
You should be able to get the parts you need to fully rebuild the original, and if it is in good order, works fine. Why muck around with mods for no real gain.

New Slave cyl's are available. Just replace it and if the hose looks old replace that as well.
