FE-FC photo wanted

it is so hard to try and find a FE-FC side on view.

Hi nes138 I need it to make a sticker if you look at my websites logo http://www.holdencarparts.com.au you will see I have used the profile of a FX FJ to form my logo.

I sent stickers out to anyone who wanted one on this forum but I am sure the members of this forum would rather have a FE FC style sticker.

I want to make another logo with the profile of an FE FC but I cannot find a good side on view of a FE FC sedan anywhere.  I was hoping someone from this forum would (maybe this weekend) take their FE FC sedan out of the shed and photograph it in a side on profile and email it to me.

here is what my current sticker looks like, I am hoping I can do a good job making a FE FC sedan style one

Good to hear an FC sticker is in the works, though slightly disappointing for me as I've been working on a series of t-shirt designs for the past few months....

First one I did was the FC, then FJ and EK... all similar styles to the Efigy-style logo, and now apparently, like your logo too....

I made my logo and had a member of my site say "Great logo can you make another one same design for an FE FC?"

so have set about making one for him.

As you can see I have not put Holden or FX FJ on my logo as I think you will run into problems with GM Holden

what do you think? selling t shirts with their name on might be a problem (?) they might say we want some royalities for using their trade marks.

I think you will be ok with the shape as I dont think the shape is trade marked (?)

Not sure really, I was more worried people might think I was ripping off your logo more than anything I guess . I'll probably end up sitting on my design for ages yet!!

re people ripping off my logo...I have come to the conclusion that with the internet nothing is protected anymore and i dont have the funds to chase people who copy my stuff.  So I am not really worried out my designed being copied. If they copy it I  live in hope that they will have the decency to at least acknowledge that it is from holdencarparts.com.au

I too was thinking about making some t shirts up with say a FC on the front and my logo on the sleeve or on the back but it all take time and money and somone will just buy one copy it and within a week a copy t shirts will end up on ebay selling at half the price I can make them for.

But I dont loose any sleep over it ...anymore
