Looking great Gary!!!

You won't see this message because you're chained to the garage , working hard, but I hope it all goes well with the finishing touches! I'm looking forward to seeing the wagon over at the Mount.

We leave in the morning so I won't know until you get there which car you end up taking..... Wink

All the best!!
Les....

Well, we made it to the Nationals at Mt Gambier, albeit on a trailer, kindly loaned to me by Ted Lowe, thanks Ted, let me know if you get any camera speeding tickets in the mail..........not  Roll Eyes

Here are some pics of the motor & Hydra-matic

Thanks to Rusty for giving me a hand to bolt the box up to the motor

And thanks to the long suffering wife Deb, for helping me to fit the whole assembly into the car

Here are the seat mounts for the bucket seats, only one bracket on each seat lined up with and bolted down the seat, from there I propped the seats up and made tin templates. Took the templates up to my local engineer & he made them up for me in mild steel.

The brackets are a bit clumsy compared to what I have seen others do & will require a bit of shimming to straighten them up, but the seats turned out OK and are a big comfort improvement over the bench

Here is a pic from a recent run to Grey Pride (Berima)

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Love that sideplate cover, if someone started remaking them they would sell heaps, you've done a really good job Gary definately not your average FC wagon.

CART MASTER: Bring out your dead!  Bring out your dead!  Bring out your dead! Ninepence.
CUSTOMER:  Here's one.
CART MASTER: Ninepence.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead!
CART MASTER: What?
CUSTOMER: Nothing. Here's your ninepence.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead!
CART MASTER: 'Ere. He says he's not dead!
CUSTOMER: Yes, he is.
DEAD PERSON: I'm not!
CART MASTER: He isn't?
CUSTOMER: Well, he will be soon. He's very ill.
DEAD PERSON: I'm getting better!
CUSTOMER: No, you're not. You'll be stone dead in a moment.
CART MASTER: Oh, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
DEAD PERSON: I don't want to go on the cart!
CUSTOMER: Oh, don't be such a baby.
CART MASTER: I can't take him.
DEAD PERSON: I feel fine!
CUSTOMER: Well, do us a favour.
CART MASTER: I can't.
CUSTOMER: Well, can you hang around a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
CART MASTER:  No, I've got to go to the Robinsons'. They've lost nine today.
CUSTOMER: Well, when's your next round?
CART MASTER: Thursday.
DEAD PERSON: I think I'll go for a walk.
CUSTOMER: You're not fooling anyone, you know. Look. Isn't there something you can do?
DEAD PERSON: I feel happy. I feel happy. [“whop” smack on the head]
CUSTOMER: Ah, thanks very much.
CART MASTER: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
CUSTOMER: Right. All right. [clop clop clop noise] Who's that, then?
CART MASTER: I dunno. Must be a king.
CUSTOMER: Why?
CART MASTER: He hasn't got shit all over him.
