CAN SOMEONE OUT THERE TELL ME WHAT THE ORIGINAL PART NUMBER WAS FOR AN FE UTE TAILGATE SKIN AND ALSO FOR A VAN.

According to MAster parts cattledog, same skin for FE-FC ute and van, Model 219,229 and 2104
Part No. 7410702, this is the panel only

Part number for FE/FC 219 & 229 (Wagon's) FE/FC 2104 (Panel Van) is 7410702

Part number for FE/FC 2106 (Ute) is 7410380

Part number for FB/EK 2106 (Ute) is 7413832

I think that the part number for the Ute skin is different between FE-FC and FB-EK due to it having different holes drilled in it for each models badge.

Just to clue you in a little
FB - EK have a smooth curve top to bottom where as FE - FC have a raised section for the badge position Hope it help's a little..

From all this info.

would it be correct to assume.

an FB/EK ute or wagon tailgate skin would fit an FE/FC wagon tailgate?

and if so, could anybody supply me an EK tailgate skin?

Van and Wagon tailgates are interchangeable, but the Ute tailgate is quite a bit taller (and could well be wider too).

An FB/EK wagon tailgate will fit an FE/FC wagon or van, but will have the wrong badge.  That's all.
FB/EK van tailgates have a small cut out in the top 2 corners. This is peculiar to this model only.

Nothing will fit a ute except for a ute tailgate.
