Hi all,

I'm interested in putting a billet steering wheel on my FC. My car has an EK column, and already has a small racing wheel and a boss kit. However, the billet wheel has a different bolt-pattern and isn't supplied with a boss.

How can I get the wheel onto my column? Are there any businesses that can supply generic boss kits?

Your wisdom is appreciated.  Smiley

Regards,

You can redrill and tap the boss.  I assume your boss is cast aluminium - if so it is pretty easy to drill and tap.  I had a SAAS boss with 6 holes and the wheel I fitted was an OBA with 7 holes.  As long as you are not drilling holes within a full diameter of another hole then you will not jeopardise the strength of the boss.
