Had an event up North on the weekend, for Ten Days on the Island. I cruised up in my bus & lo & behold, across the road there was a car show. Sadly, only 1 old Holden made the trek, but what a car. 100% original, unrestored Carlsbad Black FE sedan, with the Silver dash. Nicely accessorised aswell. It had been owned from new by the same owners, when this guy came across it. He purchased it, pretty much as you see it here. I haven't seen this on the road before.
I told him about the forum, so hopefully he will be visiting soon.

Check that floor mat!!!

Smells just like new.

Looks like a nice honest car.
You seem to be tracking down all the nice cars on the 'island'.

That is a nice car - loads of accessories as well.  Interesting the heater switch is mounted below the dash instead of in the factory position.

That is one sweet car Rob,
it still has the Launceston dealership sticker on the glove box lid the same as mine has. I have not seen that one around either.

I think a lot of the Tassie cars had the heaters installed at the dealers & they placed the switch under the dash. I have had 2 others, with factory heaters with the underdash switch. David Mitchelss FE also had the underdash switch. But, the 15,000 mile FC that we got for Robin, had the heater switch over where the factory installed them??

Mystery.
