                 What's the dates? I went a few years ago with a mate and spent the whole day there , still not long enough but got some good bargins and a few good laughs.
                   Some bloke had the rusted off front half of a chassis with a block  ( no head )  and box , on a trailer. It looked like he'd just pulled it out of a dam it had been sitting for the last ten years. He had a sign on it and wanted to know what it was  .
                 Anyway, apart from the bric a brac and flowers it was well worth the trip, some realy good gear for sale.

Hi all!
         The swap opens at 5am on friday 2 Feb 2007 and only goes till 6.30pm sat night.  Although site holders can stay the night and leave Sunday.

          The Qld club has 3 sites there every year, stop by and say gday.

THIS WILL BE MY 20TH TOOWOOMBA SWAP. I ALWAYS GO WITH A LIST OF STUFF TO LOOK FOR BECAUSE ONCE YOUR THERE AND SEE SO MUCH STUFF YOU FORGET WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR PLUS I'VE GOT A FC, A FJ AND A MODEL A TO BUY FOR SO A LIST HELPS. I'LL BE THERE EARLY FRIDAY.

hi bazza, i bet you cant wait till next year for the 21st time....you,ll be able to have your own private party..get a site and set up tables ,and kegs,ect you will have the most popular site there.then  put up a sign of the stuff you want and let them come to you

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. THE 1ST TIME I WENT IT WAS ONLY A SMALL SWAP NOW IT'S THE BIGGEST IN QLD. AND SPEAKING OF 21ST ANNIVERSARIES I WAS IN TAMWORTH CHECKING OUT THE ROCKABILLY SCENE LAST WEEK, AND WAS LOOKING AT A PROGRAMME ON THURSDAY THE 25TH AND WONDERED WHY THE DATE SOUNDED FAMILIAR. YEP 21ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY SHE WAS NOT IMPRESSED WHY DO THEY NEVER REMIND YOU?
